Product Overview: Top-smooth 5cst is a non-reactive, unmodified linear dimethicone. With low viscosity and good spreadability, it forms a non-greasy, semi-permeable moisturizing barrier in skin creams and lotions, and can eliminate the white streaks or saponification effect common in water-in-oil emulsions. In hair products it gives a silky feel. Soluble in ethanol or volatile silicones.
