Product Overview: Top-active EAS is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent whose active is compatible with a wide range of products, with good temperature stability and low irritation and sensitization. Suitable over a broad pH range, it can be used as a preservative or as an active in many formula types. In personal care it works as an antibacterial with antistatic and conditioning properties, and as an antifungal active in pet care, hand and foot creams and intimate washes, inhibiting microbes with good safety. It also serves as an antibacterial, anti-mite and antistatic agent in home care and can be blended with other biocides for higher efficiency. Optimal pH is 4-10; typical use levels are 0.5-1.5% in personal care and 0.5-5% in home care.
